GOLD PLATING is a great way to have the appearance of gold without the expense of solid gold. My gold plating technique uses an electrical current and a chemical solution to apply a thin layer of 24k gold to .999 fine silver. This creates a chemical bond and fuses the gold to the silver. The gold-plating can slightly rub off over time so it is important to take proper care to prolong its beauty.
